Feinmess Suhl is synonymous for precision made in Germany: Solid precision mechanics in absolute perfection with regards to threaded spindles and guides, manufactured to the greatest quality level, complemented with digital electronics systems and adapted individually to a wide range of application areas.
This is based on the pure passion of our employees and engineers in our established location in Suhl. They value real workmanship and precision work right to the limits of tactile measuring technology for hand-held measuring tools and calibration monitoring systems. Our products are top class and amongst the most reliable in the international marketplace thanks to know-how collected and developed over generations as well as a technical and creative solution mindset.
The State of Thuringia awarded us two innovation awards which also reflects our great development potential. Back in 2011, we were already able to convince the jury with our Digital Gear Measuring Device 0553. It significantly simplifies measuring large gear wheels which are not yet clamped into the processing machine. In 2016, we received the innovation award for our Digital Passameter 3902 in the category „Tradition and Future“. For this model, we managed to improve the established Passameter 3901 significantly, while maintaining the basic functions. The Digital Passameter is unique with its 4 mm fine measuring range at a measuring accuracy of < 0.2 µm. The Digital Passameter is ready for “Industry 4.0” thanks to its large digits, display bar and the integrated interface.
In addition to manufacturing standardised dimension and production measuring technology, our focus is mainly on the development of solutions that match the needs of our customers. The combination of precision measuring technology with precision mechanics, thread, drive and automation technology is our specialist field. We are vertically integrated thanks to our broad technological set-up. All parts of our portfolio which includes approx. 1,500 individual products are designed, manufactured, assembled and tested in Suhl. This applies to traditional lathes or modern CNC turning and milling, circular, conventional and thread grinding machines as well as our in-house calibration lab. Our in-house manufacturing skillset makes us independent from suppliers and allows us to react quickly and effi ciently to specific requirements and needs in the marketplace. -
